My Reading Reflection
I have been learning to summarise the main ideas in fiction text. We used a story pyramid to help us summarise Grandad's Dinosaur.I found this easy because I used the pictures to find the important parts in the text and wrote them down. One thing I did well was looked for key words in the text and used the pictures. My next step is to do better and summarise more. I love this.

My Fractions Learning

This is my fractions goal.

Stage 4
I am learning to find halves, quarters, fifths and thirds of sets and shapes.
I know that I can do this when:
I can share sets or shapes into halves, quarters, fifths and thirds of sets and shapes.

I can write and read the symbol for each fraction

My Maths Reflection

I have been learning to find halves,  quarters,  thirds and fifths of shapes.I found this tricky because I didn't know if two eighths is bigger then a half.  I am still learning to find this easy because I find it tricky.  My next step is to keep working towards finding and comparing fractions because it is tricky.
